I am more excited than ever to release this video for Sonic Rebel’s second single, “Reign”. As everyone knows, live shows as we know them have been shuttered, as has the business for live music production companies like our good friends at Music Matters here in Atlanta. I was so impressed by the innovative pivot they took at the onset of the pandemic - turning live music sets - into sets for interactive video shoots. Not only did I want to support all they were doing to survive, I knew I had to shoot my next video on that set “in the round”. I had never seen anything like it - a fully circular led video wall!

Happy release day!! Excited to share the second Sonic Rebel single!
The 5 songs on the EP were intended to standalone and also to become music beds for the live mashups. We approached "Reign" by the identifying the energy and emotion I wanted to convey and started experimenting with sounds on multiple keyboards (Rhodes, Mellotron, Prophet). In the studio together TJ, Dan, Ben and I organically built the track off of each other’s idea’s. In real time and in-person, we all had total freedom to stretch out creatively which was incredibly refreshing. Once Kevin laid down his signature electric ambience, the track was complete. 🥁🤘🏼
